Refund Policy

BreeLyo is a marketplace that connects clients with independent cleaning professionals. BreeLyo does not perform cleaning services and does not guarantee specific service outcomes.

Refund eligibility is determined primarily based on platform-recorded events and system data.

When Refunds May Be Issued

A refund may be issued in the following situations, as verified by BreeLyo's platform records:

No Cleaner Acceptance
If no cleaner accepts a job within the platform's acceptance window, the job is canceled and the client is automatically refunded.

Cleaner No-Show / Job Never Started
If a cleaner accepts a job but does not arrive and does not enter the required start code, the job is considered a no-show and the client may be eligible for a full refund.

Late Arrival (Before Job Start)
If a cleaner arrives beyond the platform's allowed time threshold and the job has not started, refund eligibility may apply based on system-recorded timestamps.

Client Cancellation Before Job Start
If a client cancels a job before the cleaner enters the start code and work begins, a refund may be issued according to platform rules.

All refunds are limited to the total amount paid for the job.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are generally not issued in the following situations:

  • Jobs that have been approved by the client
  • Jobs that are automatically approved after the client review window expires
  • Jobs where the cleaner has started work (as verified by start code, timestamps, or platform activity)
  • Disputes based solely on subjective dissatisfaction or preferences without objective evidence recorded through the platform
  • Requests for partial refunds except in rare cases verified by platform data and reviewed by an administrator
  • Tips or gratuities once they have been processed

Disputes and Manual Review

Clients may open a dispute within the platform's allowed dispute window. BreeLyo may review objective evidence available within the platform, including:

  • Start codes
  • Arrival timestamps
  • Job completion timestamps
  • Platform job status records
  • Proof-of-work photos submitted through the platform

Refunds outside the automatic rules are exceptional, reviewed manually, issued at BreeLyo's discretion, and remain capped at the total amount paid for the job.

How to Request a Dispute

Disputes must be submitted through the job details screen in the BreeLyo app within the allowed dispute period. BreeLyo does not guarantee specific outcomes and does not act as a legal representative for clients or cleaners.

Processing Time

Approved refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.

Payment Processing Fees

Payment processing fees charged by third-party payment processors may not be refundable in certain circumstances because these fees are charged directly by the payment processor and are not retained by BreeLyo.
